Icarus’ patented joint distraction technology represents a major innovation in medial and lateral OA management and meniscus protection. The Adonis is the first conservative treatment option to offer a substantial and targeted distraction force to the affected compartment of the knee.
As the patient walks, the Distraction Hinge extends by 1cm to separate the joint. The hinge works in synergy with a three-point unloading strap system to provide a “one-two punch” for superior joint unloading.
Ultra-Light, conforming frame – The Lightest Single Upright Brace on the Market (under 10oz)*; Precisely conforms to the patient with scan to 3D print technology
Anti-Migration Padding – Premium silicone padding
Distraction Hinge Technology – Greater overall unloading force; Targeted unloading
Simple Strapping – Clip system for intuitive and rapid on and off
